It’s hard to believe that the Sagamore Leadership Initiative organization has been developing next generation leaders for a dozen years now. It is so encouraging year after year to see next generation leaders who truly want to make a difference in the world.
At this year’s 2021 Sagamore Summit event this past weekend, our theme was “Community”. Against the backdrop of the last 15 months of battling COVID, we human beings have come to recognize our inherent need for relational connection one with another. And as leaders, the ability to develop community is vital toward sustained impact.
One of the most encouraging events at this year’s Summit was bringing a large group of young people together to serve the Danville Community School Corporation by mulching a nature trail on one of their school properties. What a beautiful picture of community partners coming together for the common Good.
